Abbreviations:
ch - chain
sc - single crochet
sl st - slip stitch
Use tan yarn
Row 1: Ch 51. Starting from the second chain from the hook, sc all the way across (50)
Row 2-10: sc all the way across (50)
Fasten off but leave a very long tail, at least a yard.
Use dark brown yarn
Row 1: Ch 51. Starting from the second chain from the hook, sc all the way across (50)
Row 2-4: sc all the way across (50)
Fasten off
Line up the dark brown band to the top of the tan band and sew together using the long tail (see picture)
Assembly:
- Roll it up the 2 bands with the center a little bit taller than the outer edge.
- Sew the roll a few times so that it won't unravel
- Optional: If the bottom is uneven and won't stand up, fold the outer layer and whip stitch it to the layer next to it. This will make the bottom flatter.
- To add frosting, use fabric glue to attach white yarn in a drizzle pattern across the top
